This past Saturday was the wedding reception of Nicole Effinger and Drew Brown. Not wanting to appear too autumnal, the tables featured a lace overlay resting on the Coronado gold underlays, Coronado gold chargers, gold Versaille Chairs and heavy cotton napkins in cream. It was a sophisticated and neutral palate and I loved how the pattern of the overlays was emphasized by the darker linen underneath!
It was such a pleasure to work with wedding coordinator Ashley Rath and I know we helped our clients have a smooth and beautiful day. Guests were greeted with a signature champagne and pomegranate cocktail called the “Browntiful Brew” and enjoyed a delicious dinner and dancing throughout the evening. One of the highlights of the evening was the s’mores wedding cake created by the Coronado pastry team. It was covered in marshmallow cream and toasted with chocolate shavings as accents. Beyond delicious!
Floral by Sisters featured white hydrangea and a pops of berry tone roses and orchids…fushia and purple. The round menus were custom cut to fit in the middle of our gold chargers on gorgeous navy paper with gold font. The maids were also in navy blue and held berry tone bouquets. Mother of the Bride Janice Effinger was stunning in a gold lace evening dress and it set the tone for the entire event. Drew and I love fried chicken so after they return from their honeymoon, we plan on all getting together and looking at photos and having some delicious fried chicken at Pat’s. I can’t wait!
